What We Do

Our service strategy is underpinned by a philosophy of combining quality products customized to client specifications with timely delivery. In the last 9 years, the firm has developed a reputation as a provider of high quality technical expertise to every assignment it has undertaken.

Growing Through Partnerships:- Our growth strategy is founded on:

  1. Capability expansion through association with reputable local, regional and international consultants (individuals/firms/ groups /consortia) working in rural and institutional development, whose involvement not only enhances success but also contributes to internal capacities. In the past, NIDA represented Natural Resources International a UK-based consultancy firm with a recognized track record within the region in the area of agricultural development. Together with Natural Resources international, NIDA was part of a consortium that co-managed the DFID 5-year ‘Research into Use’ programme up to July 2009. The programme was implemented in 10-15 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Currently NIDA is working with the UK based Agricultural Learning and Impacts Network (ALINe), to support development and operationalisation of the M&E system for the Regional Universities Forum for capacity building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) a consortium of 29 universities.

  2. Incubation and nurturing of new business enterprises including but not limited to AgriNet Uganda Ltd (www.agrinetug.net), Technical and Specialist Services for Development (TSSD), INNODEV (www.innodev.org) among others. Through this strategy, NIDA has accordingly built a diverse network of businesses which enhances its geographical reach in the country
